True, but I was using it with the wallpaper that breaks rule 6 which did contrast well I think. And also I am daily driving river with no wallpaper.

do gtk4 apps work nice? I’ve had to modify the gt4.css file.
My problem with it is that I have many different apps I launch. If I launched 10 or less apps regularly I would use it daily.
Vertical bars are great but they are terrible for displaying text, either the bar has to be huge or the bar’s width readjusts or text and icons get easily misaligned when displaying dynamic stuff. Personally my horizontal bar is now 70% occupied and I have a keybind that toggles its hidden state.

Yep, monotone themes are terrible for consistency, you get one terminal program set correctly but others will not. My suggestions is to surrender… Been there, done that and never ever again.
