My youngest is now 7 years old and can take care of herself in the morning. But I still wake up automatically at 6 in the weekend 😭

yours is similar to mine, it seems. I would just put more emphasis on social and public spaces instead of appartment bubbles + of course bicycles :)
there was something likable about Amsterdam and it’s cosmopolitanism. Maybe i’m just dreaming about an Amsterdam in a forest, peopled with Mediterraneans under a Californian climate 🤷
if you haven’t yet read Ursula K. Le Guin’s “the word for world is forest”… you should :)

Prompt: a huge forest, a romantic town with tudor style houses with balconies, built along a canal system with crystal clear water, large trees provide shade and cozy spaces for people to relax, an arched wooden bridge crosses a canal, a small vessel transports a couple --ar 4:3 --profile 9iurb8rI love these kinds of romantic towns. Maybe it’s not the most practical. But if I had a lovely house next to a (clean) canal like this, with lots of green and everything in walking distance, I would never ever move again.
