    Does anyone remember removeable batteries?

    1. Did you ever actually change one?
    2. Do you remember how after 1-2 years you had to stick little pieces of paper at the bottom of it to push the pins to make a connection otherwise the phone would randomly switch off?

I think the real action should be right to repair.

I remember it and it was awesome. Bought a cheap second battery and doubled the battery life. So if the phone was empty I just switched over to the new battery. Which is better than working with those stupid USB powerbanks. If the battery was broken, you simply bought a new one. Or if you needed additional capacity, you bought one of those big battery packs. It was great.

Same. And even further, I kept a spare with me for awhile. And I bought a giant tumor battery and modified back cover to make it slick. Worked great.

That was my Galaxy Note, the OG. I miss that phone. People would stop me to ask about it because it was so big.

I used to literally have a spare battery for my htc desire if i was going somewhere for a while, so much more convenient than a battery bank thing. Never once saw the contacts go loose in any phone I owned going back to a 3210.

right to repair is too politically juicy to just let it pass. EU will edge the fuck out of it
