This is actually a good sign, it shows the move towards local data is working — otherwise the
banana republicmaize dictatorship wouldn’t screech against it.And it shows its former soft power is completely gone, all this “let’s pretend what’s good for me is good for you” discourse doesn’t sound just false nowadays, it sounds false and ridiculous.
Indeed, but EU is very late to realize and many corporations just like(d) to throw shitloads of money to M$, as it is an easy way to offload risks (and cost for staff) to an external partner. But given the recent events with Microslop, I really hope more corporations wake up and reclaim their data and services, and ideally stop using M$ altogether.
