Well certainly even today most of us don’t lock our cars in our own garage.
And as for keeping it from being pushed, it was easier to get a stopped car into neutral when they were manual transmission. Not sure the parents could have practically done much more besides supervising Calvin more closely
The idea of not securing your car in some way seems absolutely mental. This was the fault of the parents.
You think Calvin didn’t release the brake and put it in neutral before pushing it? I knew you had to do that at a pretty young age.
