I have weirdo trying to say I made a bomb threat to flag the auto-mod system. Besides blocking him, what do you think is the best way to avoid stalking? As a last measure, yeah. But people shouldn’t be forced to give up their accounts just because other people are assholes.
That’s far but honestly what is the solution? They know your handle. They can just make a new account and do the same thing if they’re blocked…
Logging IPs and, depending on country, go for the regulatory way.
That is of course a bit more difficult on platforms like lemmy.
