Forget fear of public speaking. A lot of people now shy away completely from speaking to anyone in public. But if we learn to do this it’s enriching, for ourselves and society
Really loved that read. I really have to agree and I kind of forgot about this. In recent years I feel like we really have become extremely Individualist and dare I say it Isolationist on a human level. I spent a year in the US and felt like it was a lot more easy going starting a talk with strangers. But now in Germany I moved recently and it does feel pretty isolating. But my mind keeps telling me reasons not to connect. It feels strange if I just approach a random person to talk. Even if there is so much to be gained I have no idea and most people look busy or like just worried of their own. I wish to revert this trend but idk how
