I’m not telling you where I live. But I will say that it’s a city in america that is notorious for violent crime, and my work takes me to places people of my complexion probably shouldn’t go. Think about one of the worst ones. It’s probably the one you thought of.
You do understand that the US is a spectacular outlier in the world when it comes to guns, right? Most people in the world look at that country and its gun problems and won’t understand what the fuck is happening there because frankly, its dumb.
I’m not trying to gotcha you or anything, I’m just saying that I’m reading some of these gun comments and I just feel so happy that I live in a normal country. The constant fear for some idiot or psycho with a gun sounds like a horror movie to me.
And yes, with all possible respect: to me, pro gun people sound like… Lets call it less intelligent. Instead of focusing on solving the problems out there, you only focus on combatting the symptoms. Its like you’re trying to kill cancer by giving it more cancers.
Has adding millions of guns made the US any safer? I live in Mexico and mind you, I feel safe here. With the drug war still going on I still feel a thousand times safer here than anywhere in the US. On that note, thanks US, for sending all those guns to Mexico, you’ve made it so much “safer” here!
