    I think it was more popular than you give it credit for. Definitely not just a favorite of MAGA, that seems like a reductive claim.

      At the time, sure. But, I think fewer people look back on it fondly and think it should be recommended to people to go find it and watch it today.

        That’s totally reasonable. However, for what little anecdotal weight this carries, I showed 24 to my GF who had never heard of it and she absolutely loved it despite the change in times. The tech in the show is dated of course, but it’s like Seinfeld in that sense that sure, these problems could have been resolved differently in 2026, but the show takes place in the era it took place in.
