    I think that touchbar was introduced on an unfortunate line of Mac’s.

    The Intel Macs with Touch Bar sucked pretty hard.

    M1 with Touch Bar is a nice machine that would’ve been better to introduce the feature on

      Hmmm… possibly. My 2016 MacBook Pro was a real piece of shit. the only Apple product I ever owned that was just made badly. I mean— I had it for 10 years, but that fucker was broken 15 ways from Sunday. Keyboard, trackpad, battery, all non-functional within a year or two. The rest worked fine for a decade tho, until one day - poof! It just died. (technically, last October.)

      I replaced it with a 16” MacBook Pro M4 Pro. I’m very happy with that.

      Thank goodness for cloud backups

        That era was awful. I did like my fanless 2016 MacBook. However, I am a sucker for ambitious things. (Butterfly keyboard required keeping a can of air around)

        my 2018 MBP was a pile of crap though
