    how does that even work…? and wouldn’t the thrust push that thing like a sled?

      Tanks are famously heavy and have a smidgen more terrain friction than a sled

      Well, it’s a tank.

      Fighter jets are made of all kinds of advanced lightweight materials to keep their weight down and make flight possible. The engines are the heaviest parts on the aircraft.

      This is a tank.

      Tanks are also very heavy.

      I somewhat question the 220gpm per second figure. That seems maybe too high. You know those big streams of water you see coming from ladder trucks for building fires? It would take the equivalent of 12 or 13 of those to flow that much water. It’s just a whole fucking lot of water. Fill a swimming pool in 1 minute.

      They probably don’t rev it up past the point where the sled gets pushed 🤷

      maybe it’s also strapped down somehow.
