People are not allowed to disagree or not like? What’s the downvote button even for then?
I also read a post about downvoted content being “buried”, so I guess most people have their feed by Hot and that’s why? And what would be wrong with that anyway?

ps: What was that site you could see your upvotes/downvotes? I’m curious about my ratio and how grumpy I have become.
edit: I should have been more clear, I’m talking more about mods being touchy. If a random user gets mad that he was downvoted, there’s not much they can do, but there are mods banning people for downvotes lol
you don’t get it because you’re not using the internet as a source of validation/affirmation of yourself and your life. the vast majority of people… are doing that. they are operating on their immediate feelings of upvote = good/feel good, downvote = bad/feel bad
also there are instances that punish and call out users for their voting patterns and the votes cast on them, like piefed.
