I think I was lucky enough to get around maybe very low gold when I did ranked matches.

I’m being very hyperbolic here, but it felt like any time I would get an actual build, the game would just toss out only insta-kill builds or super shield anti-debuff builds. Just wasn’t fun to constantly try to get a build going, only to be matched with people who basically had their whole build perfected on the early days.
