I did try to search for the answer before posting, but I’m not the best at that stuff. Sorry if there’s already an answer for this somewhere.
I like to have separate accounts for stuff. I like to have one where I can discuss movies, and then another one where I can talk about video games, music, and basically all my other interests. It feels better to compartmentalize them this way. I didn’t want to go ahead with the idea without checking first.
I have three Lemmy accounts. Instances go offline from time to time, I made a third account when both my first and second account imstances went offline at the same time. Not all instances are federated with each other, so my three accounts are all slightly different in what I see.
