I’m currently using a Framework 16, so I guess that’s my favorite out of available options.
It certainly isn’t my theoretic ideal. I’d rather have a old-school-Thinkpad-style Synaptics trackpad, rather have a 100Wh battery, and I’m very dubious about how water resistant to spills the design is. Oh, and I’d like a laptop to have all side vents so that one can place it on fabric or whatever without reducing airflow.
Though they do make it really pleasant to open and work on and upgrade, I will give them that. Captive numbered screws and such.
