Basically just something people say that indicates a position indirectly, like how seperatists from a given region might always say they’re from [region] and not [country] or how trump supporters call AI “SI” now.

I have tried to start using US Americans but have used USians in the past for brevity. For the same reasons, though.
I’ve started using “USA” and “USA citizens”. They’re not the only united states or the only Americans.
