Music from Microsoft when they had the store and original DRM. They later shut it down and on newer Windows had no way to restore your DRM keys, so the music was useless/locked. Their support basically said “oh well”. Eventually I got around the DRM by an ancient version of Roxio CD burner, somehow because it came out before MS DRM it just read the track and burned it to CD, there was no DRM checking I guess

BCsven@lemmy.cato Do-It-Yourself, Repairs and Fixes@lemmy.ml•Best heat plate for mobile screen removal?1·19 days agoOn two phones I just used a drafting eraser shield. It is a super thin flexible metal. It worked so easily I didn’t understand the videos showing heating plate or cryo chamber.
Came here to type this, this was the solution for me many years back with a stuck disk
BCsven@lemmy.cato Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Everyone talks about the 4th dimension, BUT why is 3D geometry so hard for the average person compared to 2D ?7·21 days agoI can’t quite tell what the question is by your image. I have done a lot of descriptive geometry prior to CAD tools coming on the scene, and now work a lot with 3D geometry/topology problems, but what you describe is not going to be taught in schools because 95% of people will never need to know it. Honestly half, to three-quarters, of the people that run 3D CAD don’t really understand the geometry; its just a result they get
Do you run docker containers? If so this might be helpful https://github.com/sredna43/cellarman
Let’s do oranges next
I’m with @anguo, while if I have to express something I will have inner monolog, but day to day it is thought in concepts. I find it especially concept spacey when doing engineering work, it will be 3D virtual world of structures and forces (for lack of a better term) along with thought process of the problems, but there is no language to it
Married 20 years, never thought abut cheating, got divorced , and remarried 15 years now, and never think about cheating. If you commit to somebody, they should be your one and only, IMO.
Its actually a loss for Google, they are selling a good set of secure hardware for a cheap price in hopes of gleaning your data. But yeah the notch is stupid, especially when icons fall under it.
No, its a decent phone and GrapheneOS has degoogled everything and sandboxed play store if you use it. Storage spaces are sandboxed, camera and mic off switches. Lots of other security and privacy options, and 5 years of support
GrapheneOS on a Pixel phone. Immich self host as a replacent for facial recognition and albums on google photos
I see. Whatever works for you is the best way
Is the fridge pushed back all the way in the additional photos? They should make shallower fridges
BCsven@lemmy.cato Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•people whose have been through Long Distance Relationship, before internet is very accessible, whats your story?3·2 months agoWritten letters and phonecalls on the weekend when the long distance rate was cheaper.
Well you are in luck. No video but images of analysis. Hedgehog plot of normal vectors, they converge to flat at stem base. Hard to see since the stem/dimple share space.
Confirmation of immediate angle at stem base
Slope plot. Green being 0 degrees from up vector.
Dimple hole showing its not a cylindrical stem
Stem slope, green being immediate 0 vector
I’m on a trip so won’t have access to my CAD analysis tools, so no video I’m afraid.
No you weren’t. That will be £5
Doesn’t matter, the point where stem and dimple are deepest and encapsulated would have same vector direction initially. Topology doesn’t need to be cylindrical to have vectors
At the deepest part where it surrounds stem tightly there will be an instant tangent which then immediately becomes non tangent. A G0 and G1 condition and not G2
Bike riding in the 80s and jumping ramps, the slope was too high and sent the bike upward so I let go (bad plan) and supermanned myself across the pavement on my chest. I had vertical road rash stripes all down my front.
