Nice.

Nice.

I’m not sure about those devices, but with a paid account it unlocks speaker grouping and casting to various devices or rooms, or play here on current device function. I don’t have their device, just a raspberry pi with the OS.

Does Volumio suit your needs? I haven’t used Plex audio to compare
Not sure, my friends hate it online and in real life

The 10 year old phone OS probably is slowing all of that. If they flashed phone as a dedicated webserver it would probably be fine

Because you can’t worry about stuff that is so far down the road, as the future is always in flux. Focus on what you can control now.
Proton or Tuta mail. Supports aliasing so you can make unique email addresses per website, and trash them if you get spammed.
Singing up for a paid account you also get VPN, drive storage, password manager, docs, sheets, AI chat (I know), calendar, meetings and authenticator.

Yep. I’m old. I play Wingspan to chill, but also Mech Warrior 5 Mercenaries for some action shooting.

Just most people only have a 1Gbps card, and so 2.5 is not a real benefit. Not 5.0 either. Since bottleneck is PC

Yes I heard they were failing until they got the free advertising. Me I’m a Y Fenni fan.

You have a 5Gbps network card to handle that?

Meh, he has a point. For WFH I do a lot of large file transfers, often, plus Teams meetings, and streaming media. I have found 300 is OK, 500 is ideal. 1gig is not really worth the extra cost, unless it is symmetrical. Even then though the receiver often can’t receive at that high speed.

Would you like a spot of wensleydale old chum?

Aren’t those stored in your ~/.mozilla/firefox/profile.default/.

You just have to go into no script and approve the parts that make the website function but not the ad stuff. Its a pain when you first land on a site but the browser remembers what you have allowed. So overtime you get back to normal working sites, minus ads and tracking stuff
We had two dogs previously that could not see the TV, or mirrors. They totally had no reaction nor interaction , like the TV show or mirror didn’t exist in front of them, even if we positioned them right in front of either.
Our new dog will actively watch dramas with us, or nature shows. We also catch her stopping in front of the full length mirror and staring at herself.
Since she seems to understand it’s people on screen, my wife laughs at me when I cover the dogs eyes if its going to be a violent scene. Since she’s a rescue, with some issue, I figure it’s not good for her to see people attacking others.
Yep, our dog will watch TV dramas in bed with us on a laptop, but if its a nature show and a rabbit walks out of shot she gets up to see if the rabbit is somehow coming out the back or aide of the computer

Stuck on generating forever
That’s a good deal then.
