I mean it’s neat. And it’s oriented towards desktop use more so than any other OS I have ever used.
Personally I am very excited to finally see haiku ver 1 soon. For an old laptop it is very VERY lightweight and gets most work related tasks you could want done.
It’s neat
I’ve been using Authenticator and haven’t really had any issues.
I imported my Aegis codes and they worked no problem
It’s very pretty and I could see myself using it but I will stick with breezy weather for now.
I just think this has too much going on and the information is spread out too much. This is all personal preference but I feel that I get a lot more information from breezy quicker.
Cool project tho. Really like the radar
I think Element has the best chance of being a viable discord alternative. Especially with matrix 2 around the corner.
Element X (their new mobile app) loads as quickly as discord and supports e2e calls as well as chat.
It is a different app than discord though. It does not feature the nice server layout that discord is kind of known for but it is planned with spaces.
I say give Element another year or two and it will be a very formidable chat program.
And I have no doubt they are doing well financially and will continue to push improvements as matrix is very widely used. I mean hell apparently Nato uses it
Anything run through wine right now on wayland is running through xwayland
Well hopefully xwayland won’t be needed much longer for wine.
And yeah the customization is very impressive. I worry though that a lot of users will create illegible color schemes and complain. Even though it is their own fault
How are you liking cosmic? I tried to run it in a vm but it kept wanting to crash on me :(
I pretty much am exclusively on linux just because I prefer the workflow of gnome.
Sure a few games don’t work but it’s usually a competitive game I have no interest in.
Being able to use my computer without ads or shitty updates is a godsend
I like https://flathub.org/apps/org.nickvision.tagger
Very simple to use app
Wahhhh wahhhhh. That’s you
Kind of a bummer you have to pay for it when the rest of their stuff is free. And to save everyone else some time. It’s no longer available on any app stores, and the only way to get it now is on their patreon. Seems like a nice release.
Little music player is about 20kb
I love firefox. Hate the managment
If you stick with it you can type way faster than most other keyboards. Plus it’s fun to use
Looks like terminus
Either a radeon rx7600 or a 4060. The lowest tier gpu’s are usually the most power efficient. I’m sure you would see some performance gains as well but probably not an insane amount. But thats just the brand new gpus. You could get maybe a 6700xt which would have more vram than a 7600 for a bit more money.
To me it sounds like the problem lies with the titan x more than anything. Has it always had thermal issues? Could be a power supply issue or any number of things. I had a 2060 and my system was freezing for extended periods of times and eventually crashing my system and I assumed it was due to the summer heat. But I eventually replaced my psu and boom. No more issues.
There is an issue going over what happened.

I’m gonna be honest Paisa was under agpl 3 and it explicitly states you can’t just change the license.
If my non-lawyer interpration is correct.

But then again maybe I am misunderstanding that
