Or if you must use the cap, just drop the cap with the detergent in with the laundry. It will clean itself.
Generative ai is just an advanced chat bot, a toy that uses too much power to be efficient.
My personal experience is that any output has to be double checked and edited. It would be better to just do whatever I asked it to do from the beginning. When it can fact check itself and cite sources, then it might become useful.
An ai that can comb through vast amounts of data and give an output of specific data relevant to the question presented than a generative ai might be useful. But it can’t analyze data very well at the current moment. It hallucinates too much.

Belgdore@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why do some people defend the billionaires and capitalism?71·9 months agoThey believe that the status quo is better than any alternatives. They have not been exposed to other ways of living and those that have lock themselves to basic tribalistic thinking.
Imagine trying to get a sports fan to see the benefits of being a fan of another sports team. Even if they aren’t personally playing and their team isn’t winning they maintain loyalty. Some even bet on their loser teams and lose money just because of loyalty.
It’s all about team loyalty/ tribalism

Belgdore@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why is HD or 3D so impressive on a flat screen, but we walk around in real life with the highest definition possible and the most realistic 3D and it's completely mundane?7·1 year agoBecause it’s art.
There is a lot of skill and artistic talent needed to create a facsimile of real life. Anyone can draw a tree, but a realistic tree takes some amount of artistic knowledge. The more realistic the more talent that the artist shows. Similarly, when the artist deviates from recreating real life it shows an artistic vision beyond reality.
We like art because it shows a different perspective from the minds eye of the artist. And when the artist can render that vision as something that looks real, even if it couldn’t really exist, it is impressive.
This is what nvidia did with the shield, and they don’t make a mobile version anymore. The set top box was just that successful.
A Steam Deck dock with a pci slot for an external graphics card would be phenomenal.

Belgdore@lemm.eetoHome Improvement@lemmy.world•How would you seal this gap around kitchen sink plumbing?5·2 years agoIn that case it’s even better. Check your jurisdiction, but you might be able to get a contractor to fix it then charge your landlord.
Belgdore@lemm.eetoHome Improvement@lemmy.world•How would you seal this gap around kitchen sink plumbing?22·2 years agoWrong foam insulation resulting in overheating or toxic/ flammable off-gassing, wrong amount of foam, attaching something conductive to the copper pipes, accidentally nicking a wire in the wall, I don’t know about a billion things could go wrong, and you don’t want it to be your fault if it does.
Belgdore@lemm.eetoHome Improvement@lemmy.world•How would you seal this gap around kitchen sink plumbing?22·2 years agoIf he messes it up based on internet research and burns the building down, or causes some other harm to a tenant then he’s going to have a lot harder time dealing with the insurance claim than if he hired someone whose job it is to do that kind of thing.
As a business expense the contractor price is tax deductible as well.
Belgdore@lemm.eetoHome Improvement@lemmy.world•How would you seal this gap around kitchen sink plumbing?625·2 years agoYou are a landlord, treat it like the business expense it is and hire a contractor.

Belgdore@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•At which level within the hierarchy of the US office do individuals aspiring to be part of it tend to be perceived as driven by a strong desire for power?4·2 years agoNot just America. People who want power always seek it. I have yet to see a proposed system that could eliminate the ability to gain and abuse power.

Belgdore@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is an extremely dangerous thing that we use daily?11·2 years agoYes via the commerce that results in taxes. But the pint is that public transit does not get built unless you can convince law makers that it will be cheaper than any alternative to the government’s pocket.
It’s easier on your neck to look side to side than it is up and down. So to get more screen real estate it makes more sense to go horizontal. Anecdotally, I constantly have two documents or a document and a web page open next to each other on one monitor. The landscape framing works really well for that.
