I thought I had heard about him making that before but no amount of searching seemed to find it… I guess thats why, I was thinking I had just made it up or something.

Was putting together a flat pack wardrobe with my sister and mother. Mother just had to stand and support it whilst my sister did up some screws (at this point it was just a rectangle with no internal support so gravity wants to turn it into a rhombus). She starts getting bored and checks her phone leading to it tilting and the top section falls out and brains my sister on the head. After some choice words we put it back together and then she manages to do the exact same thing the second time, right on top of the bump made by the first incident. It was like a laurel and hardy sketch. My sister was very much not amused.

Not OP but I would say because it is a smaller list where if you want to donate and make a big difference to the project then you know it is good to give money to pretty much anyone other than the over funded ones.

Just go for a walk. Calling it exercise scares people into thinking about running, cycling or the gym but for the last month or two i just make it my mission to go for a long-ish walk once a day. Nothing strenuous, some days I walk a couple of kilometres to the nearest big supermarket to pick up some stuff, or i’ll get something delivered to a post locker thing or I’ll just go for a nice walk around the nearby park and bring my neglected camera with me to take pics of some birdies.

You would be surprised how many calories it adds up to and how much better your well-being can get from some sunlight and fresh air.

The Volt is a PHEV, I think the Bolt is the pure EV. I was considering its Vauxhall badged version years ago as a choice for a company car.

A Nikon D3200 I’ve had for year I like using for nice landscape pictures and portraits but I used to use it as just my ‘everything’ camera - a role now taken by my phone.

Sony Cybershot DSC-W12. This was my first digital camera and used to go absolutely everywhere with me. These days it still gets used but purely as an underwater camera for scuba diving as I have an underwater case for it.

I picked up one of those Mavicas in a car boot sale years ago, its remarkable how far things have come.

My favourite cuisines I’ve had which were not common ones you can just find on any high street here were mostly found during the height of covid when I was working quite a way from home but the hotel’s restaurant was closed so I had to order delivery each night.

• Nigerian: Ordered this a few times, peppersoup, moin moin, draw soup, eba amongst the things I had. Soon after a West African section opened in my local supermarket so I could at least get some of the main ingredients to cook some at home.
• Ethiopian: Amazing, not tried cooking any yet, some ingredients seem hard to come by
• Afghan: Had a bunch of times as there was a restaurant in my town
• Sri Lankan: Love it, superficially similar to Indian food but I was surprised just how different it was and has become one of my favourites that I cook at home with regularity.

That is more than fair enough, as said, not trying to get you to donate or anything, especially if you already donate your time. Just hoping to put something out there that some of us really do take the donations seriously and we try to be as transparent as possible with everything, I just wish more projects would do that to shake some of the potential mistrust.
