I’ve never heard of proton-em. Probably have, but didn’t know what it was. Is it on protonplus app? I’m going to try it. Thank you.
Awesome. Thank you so much.
Awesome. Appreciate the reply. I’ve found that there is a toggle for HDR on lutris that gets enabled when I flip the gamescope switch. And it stays active even after disabling gamescope. Now heroic needs to do the same.
Thank you so much. This is what I needed. Does this enable HDR on the game in general, or does it enable the toggle for HDR in the game? Also, do I need the Wayland parameter if I’m already on Wayland?
Good to know it’s not just a skill issue. lol
No worries, friend. I appreciate the effort. I got the 8bitdo ultimate 2c and the flydigi direwolf 3 and I love both. The latter does have a gyro, but it wouldn’t work with rpcs3 as an actual gyro since the PS3 used sixaxis which rpxs3 doesn’t support yet (knowing the wizards behind rpcs3, I doubt it would take long before they make it work). I can map the gyro to left stock, right stick or mouse. So I mapped it to the right stick and assigned the press and hold of the select button to activate it releasing it disables it.
I can’t believe I haven’t bought any of these controllers a long time ago. They’re so great.
Level1linux has some videos specifically for that. I believe he made more than one video. He goes into great details actually.
I do dualboot, but I just use wired since I don’t really go anywhere whenever I play. :)
Man, this is so freaking refreshing to hear. I don’t know why I haven’t bought one of these a long time ago. Buying all the MS and Sony garbage that is made to break. I only ever play wired. Rarely do I use/need the Bluetooth. Do these support the gyro requirements on rpcs3? I was playing uncharted the other day and it was telling me to move the controller on some parts of the game, and the Xbox (more of a shitbox controller) doesn’t work on it
Absolutely. This is what Linux is all about, doing it yourself and learning along the way
Good to know, as I’m going to keep an eye on the Vader 4
This one is too pricey for me, but I’m definitely keeping an eye on it.
I just ordered this one. This is reassuring. Thank you so much
Awesome. thank you so much. I’m very basic and only use the default buttons. I play old games on emulators really, that’s all. Nothing fancy. lol
Nice. Thank you so much. I don’t really do any buttons beside the default ones, as my brain can never get used to the extra buttons no matter how much I tried. I just can never use them for some reason. Very basic, so I guess it’ll work for me.
Thank you so much. You have also answered a question I’ve had for the longest time ever. I’ve been dreaming of making a steam console for my bedroom, but didn’t know if it can be woken up by the controller like any regular console. So, thank you.
Several assholes, I mean companies, are doing this. I’ve experienced this with GOW Ragnarok. I had to launch it with
SteamDeck=1 %command%
They’re trying to split platforms so hard. Anything but to let Linux users enjoy something for once without having to hack shit up. Then they complain about “cheating” on Linux. Fuck off.
Have you tried changing whatever compatibility layer you’re using? Sometimes, I have some visual glitches and changing from, for example, GE-proton to proton experimental fixes it. Install an app called “protonplus” and find more compatibility layers from different folks.
two games so far, inidian jones and the great circle and Resident evil4 so far
