It thankfully seems to have been fixed thanks to @graycube@lemmy.world. Running analyze verbose; in postgres.

The pgautoupgrade was added for the new version because this deployment is an all-in-one solution for running lemmy. And upgrading the databases turned out to be quite the effort until some user pointed the maintainer towards pgautoupgrade here.

I tried running lemmy before I found out about this, but this just makes it so much more convenient to run.

I think so. I have lemmy and everything needed running through a single docker container using Lemmy-Easy-Deploy.

I added pg_stat_statements, and ran it. This was the result:

I have. And I tried to tweak it with no avail. But it was working within acceptable levels before the update.

Ban evasion for one. Creating 6 accounts is not the way. If a post doesn’t go the way you hope just move on. It’s not the end of the world, nor is it a reason to create half a dozen other accounts just to repost it again and/or complain about your ban.

If you do not like this, find an instance more accepting of your behavior. But Retrolemmy is not the place for you.

The first account was banned in retrospect after the first 3 seemingly didn’t care about community rules. Retrolemmy will not be the instance to house people who don’t adhere to the community rules. If you decide to turn a new leaf I am prepared to unban your first account.

I don’t click piped links myself, but some people find them useful.

As for tldr bot, it’s useful insofar it gets an idea across for wether I want to read the article, but leaves out a lot of information, often vital to the story, and leaves in fluff.

They aren’t perfect, but useful for some.

The gradient, shadows and highlights are too good for just a cartoon. This is more like a 90s animated film style. But even then it’s still too good.

The 1989 Tiananmen Square protests and massacre was on that date. It’s like generating an AI image of people falling of the twin towers, or one of jews in a gas chamber, or an image of the rape of Nanjing, or of the people in Hiroshima during the nuclear bomb. Extremely in bad taste.

It proves it’s expensive. Too expensive to keep up. Especially going against one of the big 3.
