When talking about who was worse we can’t just look at the atrocities. But for America specifically Trump is worse. Bush was just another crooked politician fueling the war machine. First of all I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through. It’s gonna hurt, and they are times when you may feel things are too much. Just take things a day at a time, if that’s too long take it an hour at a time or so on. I’d you have friends or family you can rely on spend time with them.

My first relationship was a 2 year one with a friend too. I blocked her on everything and cut out anything in my life that reminded me of her and immediately tried dating again, mistake for me. Thanks I’ve talked with a bunch of coworkers about what I can do if this happens. I can apply for food stamps if the government shutdown and we get a letter to explain everything to my creditors.as for unemployment I can but will have to immediately pay it back.

Honestly the job I’m in is better than pretty much Anthony else including benefits. The only job that would pay better would be sales but i know I wouldn’t last. The big issue is my wife needs a vehicle for her job. I will ask the food bank about accommodations.

My car is totally paid off so that is a possibility. We were looking to get a second one before this happened to help with us both working. The house we are in is probably the best in the area honestly and we have 5 cats soon to be 4 which is also difficult to re-home.

I’ve used the local one a few times. I work when they are open though so it is a struggle to get there for me.

I would do the car pool thing if that was possible. At the moment I can take public transportation, but it would take 2 hours and it’s get there and got before work starts. It’s trash here.

I am fully medicated for depression and anxiety. I was definitely at a low point when I made this post. I will look into that advice.

Honestly my job is the best thing in our situation. I’m a government employee who will get paid regardless of if the government shuts down and the benefits are mostly the reason I’m still here. We have a very strong union. I’m trying to convince my wife to start organizing one at her place.

Yeah I’ve been the bread winner basically since we got married and she lost her job and wasn’t able to find work for two years. We accrued a lot of debt during that time and haven’t recovered. We do our best to support eachother though

You may be right, I just felt the strong need to defend my reasoning. I’m just trying to learn and I’m reading every comment and considering my response and even went back and changed some of my statements that looking back are dumb.
