The opposite, I always sleep with blanket on even if I don’t want to. In summer I fall asleep with blanket on my side and wake up fully covered in blanket. And sweating like a pig

Autumn, I realized all the good things are in autumn - my birthday, september fairs, things calm down after crazy summer, halloween, and providing autumn ends officially at 22nd december - waiting for christmas, the atmosphere, christmas parties in december
In my opinion yes, unfortunately. It’ll suffer from Gartner hype cycle soon but it’ll recover and will slowly get better every year to the point it’s really good.
The worst thing is that I don’t see any “stop sign”. Like f.e. with self driving cars it was kind of obvious that it’ll get ridiculously complex in real life situations, thus having a problem with legislation and mass adoption. But with AI? I don’t know, I don’t see any stop sign … Maybe that it never reaches this high mark we all expect?

She traveled the world, played for teams in Europe, Middle east and Asia. Eventually she settled in the exact same village as me on the completely oposite side of the country from where we grew up. I didn’t even know until my wife told me that one of our neighbours was born in the same town as me

EfreetSK@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•what was your favorite thing about your first car?3·1 year agoCitroen Saxo, everything was SO cheap. I remember I had to replace a side mirror and a new one was like … 30€? And I was able to do it myself.
Replacing a side mirror on my Octavia was almost 500€!
Hi, first of all sorry for all the downvotes and people not telling you why - c/asklemmy is meant for more generic, openended questions. If you need help, then try one of the programming communities or maybe stackoverflow.com. Not sure how many such communities we have on Lemmy but I’m sure we can find some
Edit - to people downvoting, don’t be dicks, we aren’t on reddit anymore 🙂 We’re relatively small group of people here, try to be helpful instead and suggest the right communities 👍
Counted calories, ate less, reduced sugar, flour and potato consumption. No exercise.
Exercising has a lot of health benefits and helps with loosing weight but food consumption is the most important.
Eventually I started running but this was after I lost weight. If exercising demotivates you, don’t force it

Yes! I had enough of this so I bought like 6 USB-C cables at once, best buy ever
EfreetSK@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is something worth buying as a teen? please explain.8·2 years agoThat’s a good question. It’s hard to go back to my teen years but I’d suggest:
- buy a musical instrument and learn to play it, really doesn’t mater which one. Especially during college years everyone who could play anything was suddenly a superstar
- buy some book to learn some skill, again doesn’t matter that much what you learn. I don’t know, like mixing cocktails? Sounds fun. For example by accident I learned “reading of hands”. I quickly learned that it’s bullshit but boy, was it an interresting thing to perform during parties in college
- Nothing really comes to my mind regarding of profesional development. Really at your level most of the stuff you can learn is free online and you don’t need anything expensive
EfreetSK@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What are some songs that you started listening to ironically, but grew to genuinely enjoy?English2·2 years agoDo you remember how you found the song?
I do actually :) I saw it featured in a video, something like “metal band reacts to modern music” and I think the metal band was Gloryhammer
Edit: Found it, it wasn’t Gloryhammer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_U7ejfOuV0&t=366s
And do you have any clue what it means?
That I don’t know for sure, the beginning sounds like it’s about falling in love but what the refrain means I have no idea

But I can buy anything with fiat curency and with bitcoin I can basically buy nothing. And I never will be able probably, bitcoin is too slow to be used as an actual curency to buy common things like groceries
