I’ve been trying the subtle ‘send friends cool posts from the fediverse’, as I wasn’t having much luck explaining what the fediverse is/ why we should leave the corporate social media behind.
I left reddit, and pretty much stay away from it. I don’t want to give advertising revenue to reddit. And so I suggest federating with reddit is not a good idea. As you say, “it’s over there, if we need/want it”, to paraphrase.
May I suggest 8 spider style eyes; would really add creepiness. I mean except for arachnophiles.
plus ally’s, plus docs that work with ME/CFS…
I started up a few magazines, to replace the subreddits, but don’t have the time to really promote them. And I would like more on the fediverse side, so people can actually migrate away from corporate social media.
What CFS/ME and Longcovid magazines would you like to see grow?
