Tbh, I don’t care one iota what people eat or drink. I have had people in a social setting in a beer place who wanted hot water. I got her hot water, making sure if was boiled and not just hot tap water.

Ofc a parent or a child is irreplaceable for the family. A friend or a lived one, a pet is irreplaceable for those close to them.
And I interpret it that people over emphasise their own importance. No boss is irreplaceable, no CEO or politician is ultimately so important they can’t be replaced with new people. There will come new experts, there will be new leaders, new visionaries, new scientists. When the current ones grow old and inevitably follow the path we all must go.

I have a cheap Mazda 6e with the small battery. It has on a bad day 390 km range if I run heater, in sport. For daily use I can hold over a week with that. But I have a home charger so battery is always full each morning. I only ever need to charge in a station on road trips. At least in Norway which is a mature EV market most have home charger. Only those with street parking (not that common in Norway outside perhaps three large cities) don’t have home chargers.

Earning the right to better equipment is so satisfying. Like leveling up and getting to equip new gear
I tried starting with making stuff out of paracord. Bracelets, key chains Relatively inexpensive as you need paracord, storm lighter and some clips.
Lots of tutorials on youtube.
I enjoy cooking. Finding recipes by reading and watching shows. I initially a bit expensive to get all the stock spices and ingredients. Also a decent knife and pans. But rewarding as you get to eat it. Also a path to a healthier life with less processed food (less salt among other things) and more greens. Can be an incentive to socialize more as well if you want to.
I also play Flames of War and Team Yankee. Building models and then painting them. Can be done with podcasts and shows on in the background. Bonus is that you can play with them.
Think it will be like the scene from Band of Brothers were the string quartet plays in the ruins.
These are all concept cars. In other words often just fantasy. Even if they do make a prototype it’s in no way guaranteed that it will see production. Anyone remember the Citroen or Renault where the seat was part of the door. Even featured as a prototype on Top Gear.
