That is someone applying imperial system logic to the metric system. No one in their right mind uses fractions to describe 15cm.

Climate Town absolute banger. Love that guy!
I had an ipad pro and it was an awful experience for me. Lack of customizations I deem normal, lack of real choice, limitations at every step. The walled garden felt hostile to me, the user. I sold it and got a Samsung tablet instead and it’s been perfect. The only thing missing is procreate, but I have alternatives that do 99% of what I wanted.
Amen to this. OP if you focused on career and income by this point maybe you have some spare money to use on a personal fitness coach. They will help guide and motivate you which long term should help with all manner of issues you might be dealing with, from mental to health. Good luck. You can do it!
I just switched from Sync to Sync. The transition was bumpy but I’m still on Sync.
For work I used to have an agenda with notes but over time I realized it’s impossible to actually keep organized and have the most important things be the most easy to find. I moved to onenote and never looked back.
For personal notes I use a tablet with pen because it’s fun to write by hand without wasting trees and it still being digital it’s easier to organize and move information around.
It’s been better since moving away from lemmy.world, then Sync being available also helped a lot. But unfortunately as many have noted already, this is not as easy to get into for more casual users so it’s heavily biased towards tech topics and communities. Smaller communities will probably take a lot longer to take off if at all and I’m sad about that loss so far.
Kept having stability issues with the instances I joined. One of them even dissapeared completely (rip vlemmy). I ended up on a anarchy/piracy one and it’s been the best experience so far.
That adults had it figured out.
That average people actually care about anything but themselves.
That there is justice in the world.
