That’s quite neat honestly. I dont think I would use it to communicate proper data (like the blood oxygen example), but i like the market trend examples.

The internet wasn’t built for bots though? It was a way to connect universities to make it easier to share research and information and make it robust enough that it could function if some nodes were lost. Never have a heard automation was a foundational part of it.

I think you’re underestimating the amount of work creating a game is. Dreaming is fine, the next step is to commit some ideas on paper. A project of this scope is unheard of for a solo developer. So you better have a nice chunk of cash behind you to pay for some developers.
I would strongly suggest you start with a very basic tutorial for Unreal engine and then slowly expand on that to even see if it’s something you’d enjoy doing.
We all dream of our perfect games and maybe scribble down some notes, but actually putting in the work is a whole other matter. What do you have that the tens of thousand survival games made in unreal engine in steam lacks?

The most devious of their schemes are the “skip the grind” kind of micro transactions. The sleaziness of making your game a slog just so you can sell the solution to the problem they created is diabolical.

I’m curious as well. My knowledge is probably quite outdated, but from what I understood the training part is what’s expensive and then querying the model is pretty cheap. Is it still true (or was it ever) that the generated answers on search engines are cheaper to generate than the actual search results?

Sure, I do partially agree with that. But give parents better tools to monitor or restrict what their kids can access. Don’t make every citizens online activity trackable. Just look at Texas what “nothing to hide” logic gets you; arrested for seeking abortion.

The EU are absolutely the bad guys if not kept on a short leash. I’m not very confident Chat Control would be stopped unless for the massive campaigning to educate them. They already want to weaken GDPR. Are we the US yet? No, but we all need to be very wary of the power creep. They are also looking into age-verification laws to protect the kids. Not all things EU are benevolent.

And if that is the smallest turning circle of that vehicle I don’t know what to say. These shit bags are just too lazy to turn the wheel and likely have no idea where the corners of their truck are.

It is very poverty stricken. There’s plenty of dangerous/sketchy characters if you go looking for it. Clearly quite drugged people are everywhere. Young kids with the iconic gray tracksuit and balaclavas racing about on bikes. Closed shops and signs of attempts at reviving the city are abundant. Me and a friend walking down the main street saw this really odd shop. It was the size of a moderate clothes shop, but it was like stripped down to the concrete, no music, little to no shelving, just random products stacked on the floor on pallets. Things like microwaves, bbqs, fans, and such. A couple of guy were eyeing us the entire time. What my friend told me is that’s a store for things “that fall off a lorry”.
Edit: I should add though that the city as a whole is surprisingly low on actual crime. I think it has a pretty decent community mindset. Just don’t go to Pillgwenlly :P

My parents came to visit me in Wales. They suggested we go to Newport to look around. I just answered “Hm, let’s not”. There’s just such an odd feeling walking around that city.

Good thing SponsorBlock will automatically skip the segments for you so you can enjoy the 20 minutes long video!

Oh yeah. Tbf, I had the same thought when I read the post as well. “This is very big brother, but good?”

Except you own everything generated by yourself and you’re not being exploited for someone else’s profit.

Oooh, now I’m curious which one it is that makes sense!
Narbacular Drop? And it’s pretty fun to be honest, quick indie game goodness! 😄

I feel the days of free YouTube front ends is coming to an end. I’m honestly surprised they’re still alive. Didn’t they try to kill yt-dlp recently? Together with their playstore developer verifications, YouTube VPN restrictions, making life harder for Android derivatives, YouTube ad blockers, and on and on, I don’t see a bright future for anything that piggybacks off of Google’s back.

Sounds like the market value could be 15% higher if people are still buying 😃

Not sure if this is a whoosh moment in that Netflix is on the decline, but, the N is Netflix 😄
Scalping gift cards. Now that is a million dollar idea! (in debt)
