You educate the Russians. They’re living in a closed room and are being force fed bullshit so Ukraine looks like the bad guys. Once they’re educated and realize what the hell is going on, there will be some uproar to them being drafted and forced to fight Ukraine who has done nothing wrong. Maybe then, they’ll stand up to Putin and take his fucking ass out and this shit can be over. At that point maybe Russia can turn it around and become a productive member of society.

They’re equally likely to cause a fire, but with gas you have the additional concern of carbon monoxide and gas leaks.
InternetUser2012@lemmy.todaytoHome Improvement@lemmy.world•bought a gas dryer thinking we had a gas connection... is this it???6·11 months agoIf the vent plugs up you’re now having carbon monoxide inside your house, it uses a flame to heat, so more potential for fire. If something goes wrong you can have a gas leak. Electric is install it and forget about it, gas you have to watch it. That being said, I prefer gas, it’s more efficient, just have a carbon monoxide detector in the room with the dryer and clean your vents regularly.

InternetUser2012@lemmy.todaytoHome Improvement@lemmy.world•bought a gas dryer thinking we had a gas connection... is this it???53·11 months agoAll I said was you need to turn it on to see if it leaks. If you’re explaining how to check for a gas leak, It’s a pretty important step. By reading his comment, if OP knows nothing about it, which is clear by their asking, they could just put soap on it, see no bubbles, and then turn it on and walk away…

Who gives a shit if you don’t look cool wearing a headset or ear plugs. You know what else isn’t cool? That constant ringing in my ears because I was an idiot for years. I have to sleep with two loud fans now.
Interesting. I have no issues. I use wayland. I’ll try dx to see if it’s any better but I never have crashes. PopOs
What’s the issue with Vulkan? I’ve got over 200 hours playing on it.
