I wasn’t understanding what use keystrokes and mouse-clicks would have without also capturing what’s happening on screen. Turn out, they are also capturing that:
The tool, called Model Capability Initiative (MCI), will run on work-related apps and websites and will also take occasional snapshots of the content on employees’ screens

Not as much as I would like. It’s like what you said, I locked myself in a box of I can’t (I’m really risk averse XD). It’s not so bad, I try to keep myself healthy, so if I ever get out of my blockage, I will have the body to do what I set out to do.

Weird, mine was: “Never have sex!”
I agree with you, but at the same time, AI kinda amplify every bad aspect of our society. It show how much employers want to get rid of their employees to the point of willing to replace them with an experimental technology. It exacerbate climate change with resource hungry data centers. It accelerate enshitification. It show how messed up the whole investment thing is (AI companies investing into each other). Government want to use it to increase their surveillance of us. It make armies salivate at the idea of having an army of relentless robot.
Like you, I’m not necessarily against it, I don’t think it’s possible to stop progress and that is definetly a part of it. Still, I can’t wait for the bubble to pop so that AI go back to being a thing instead of the thing.
