It’s about foreign nation influencing a public vote like it happened during Brexit. Not about leaving the EU.


Russia, the US and China all have an interest in weakening the EU. So expecting interference from them is quite reasonable. Hopefully the people of Iceland can see through attempts to influence them.


Most if not all regulations have a good reason behind them. Look at the charging ports for phones and laptops for example.
Or just look at the USA. Their rivers were literally burning some decades ago. Sure the companies could make more money by polluting everything, but companies shouldn’t be the main focus of a country or a union.
I’d rather have too many regulations than none.
Maybe it is time to finally go home then. But I guessPutin fell for the sunken cost fallacy…
