TIL that axes is the plural of axis and axe.

Oblivion was the only game that came close to how I felt the first time I stepped out of the dungeon and opened the world map of Daggerfall. I couldn’t stop making new characters that I wanted to explore the world with.

But Oblivion really was something special too. Felt like an alive fantasy world.

That was incredibly kind and useful thing to do for us. Thank you.

They’re trying to preemptively hire people who don’t give them a hard time when they treat them like peasants. When the boss says it’s getting harder to hire means the rest of us are harder to fire. Keep up the pressure!

Grown ass man

McDonald head. A little girl, maybe 4, called me McDonald head while laughing hysterically and pointing, for like 10 min straight. This was more than 20 years ago and I can still hear her laughter.

Dead, burnt, and blown up kids in Afghanistan. I’m an atheist now. I wish people didn’t need first hand experience to change their minds, myself included.

I feel the same way when I think about how when ever you get a whole bunch bunch of stuff together in one spot, it frickin warps time and space and that’s why I’m standing and not floating.

Citrus does not have the scale of the big crops like corn and wheat, so big deposit totes. I am close to the industry, pesticides are sold by the jug or pack, packed on pallets, poured into sprayers by hand. I’ve known growers that just throw the waste into giant burn piles. Doesn’t matter, citrus is dying…unless we come up with a solution to citrus greening.

Mostly in Florida citrus, the packaging for pesticides is significant. Jugs for liquids, bags for dry powder. And irrigation drip and emitters are all plastic. Oh and cones for new trees from the nursery, zip ties for the protective cover around the stalk of newly planted trees. Flagging tape, um, there’s probably more.
