831·18 days agoYou don’t need an amazing rig to do this. Don’t get fooled by the content creators with their sponsored content. Learn and buy only after researching what you need. Build for your own needs not to some crazy spec someone on the YouTube tells you need. A simple old pc with right software and working backup solution is all you really need. Just learn how to make it work safely.

9·20 days agoToo bad their business model is totally whack for personal use.
One time purchase of $139 for 6 months of “support and maintenance” and then $49 a year for driver updates and such.
It’s like they don’t want individuals using it. I’d imagine anyone who would be willing to pay that would be a commercial user with some old software that ArcaOS technically supports. Then it might be worth the price to be able to run said software with newer hardware.
Sitting down and wiping means no splatters.
