Wdym? Harris looks like she might win over Trump. And yes, the Democrats would prefer Trump over someone like Sanders who wants to change the country in a fundamental way to benefit the people instead of corporations and the rich - the two groups that both parties work for.
While I agree that someone like Sanders would be a better candidate, it would require him (as an example) to have the full support of the Democratic party. And he certainly does not have that, as seen previously when he was running as a Democrat and the Democrats fought him harder than they’ve ever fought a Republican.
Harris is the only realistic non-republican candidate on the table, and so far she’s doing way better than Biden did and would have done. Biden certainly would have lost this election, Harris has a decent chance of winning. A Democrat Sanders would have lost due to constant sabotage by the Democrats and the Democratic aligned media outlets. An independent Sanders would also have lost, and split the vote for a Republican win.

Sure, and while I think that’s a good idea, it’s not really the same thing. Even though a rich person is more likely to drive a more expensive vehicle, you can have wealthy people driving sensible cars (especially the really wealthy) and lower income idiots, I mean people, having saved up and taken out ridiculous loans to get their expensive dream car that they can’t afford. Confiscating those two vehicles would be the complete opposite of equality in terms of financial pain.

First of all, LED is not the same as OLED. The O stands for organic. They are more sensitive to stuff and break down over time sort of (maybe a really crappy explanation, someone with more knowledge please help), especially the blue color.
Of course, I do things because they’re fun to do. But those things don’t require any effort. When people talk about motivating yourself it’s usually about using the motivation as a tool to do things that take a lot of effort.
Someone not too long ago asked me how I motivate myself, and I was quite puzzled by the question, like “what do you mean motivate myself? That’s not how motivation works?”, because to me motivation has always come from external sources, like people, situations, experiences etc. But no, apparently some (many? most?) people can somehow motivate themselves. I’d like to have that power please.

Yeah the data is an issue for sure. I wonder if torrents of some kind would help making it more doable, where viewers (on computers, not phones) build up a cache from which they also seed. Like Spotify did when they started out.
I’d say that, for me, a computer gets moved down the chain. From a daily driver, to something I use more sporadic, and then on to become a server of some kind hosting light weight stuff on my LAN. And then eventually it becomes a question of if it’s worth the electricity bill having such inefficient old hardware running 24/7.
Yeah, and if you need to use Windows-only external hardware, just pass through a couple of USB ports. I thinks it’s the ultimate solution.
The future is running Windows in a VM under Linux for the few Windows programs you need. No need to reboot into Windows except for very few exceptions.
Even if that’s true that doesn’t mean they all agree and would vote for the same candidate. In fact that seems very unlikely given how distributions usually look. And in a first past the post system people usually vote for the party that has the biggest chance of beating the party they dislike the most, not for the party they like the most, and over time that usually leaves the system with only two viable parties that a lot of people don’t like. But it doesn’t mean they all agree.
