yep! ended up setting a diff default page, but was more so curious about the behavior/root cause.

was doing some distro hopping & was trying out antiX on an old machine.

dl was done using the antiX package mgr.

region is english speaking; usa.

yes, manually set a different home page but was more so curious why this was happening.

does not compute. how does this response help me understand? i have read through a bunch of stuff but question has not been answered. what have i missed? pls advise.

ignoring them is the best thing. when you start feeling super annoyed, that’s a good time to take a break & walk away for a few mins.
