Finally a good use for LLMs
Finally a good use for LLMs
I was kinda on the opposite end of the spectrum lol. I remained steadfast in engaging with the Santa Claus mythos until a pretty late age despite my parents staight up telling me they were the ones getting me presents, and despite knowing that all evidence pointed to them telling the truth, lol.
Capitalism in itself is very much the problem. There is no positive aspect to the extraction of surplus value (“profit”), hoarding the vast majority of it into the hands of the wealthiest “private” property owners.
Marxists are opposed to free markets, at least as a long term goal (in achieving a stateless, moneyless, classless society - i.e. communism). But some leftist ideologies aren’t necessarily opposed to free markets (though are still of course anti-capitalist). This includes democratic socialism and market anarchism.
Daily reminder that capitalism hurts all of us.
Capitalism isn’t about free markets, it’s about private property and profit extraction.

Nordic models are a mix of social democracy and corporatism. Definitely not free and definitely not the answer.
Contrapoints and Andrewism immediately come to mind. Might add more in an edit.
Are they also pronounced the same‽

Holy fuck, mega based take ya got there. Social darwinism is a bane to society, deeply rooted in capitalist thought and also loved by fascists for its eugenic undertones. People get fooled that it’s somehow “scientific” because it’s got darwinism in the name (and because of poor education) when it’s nothing but pseudoscience. Same goes for the phrase “survival of the fittest” which is a social darwinist misinterpretation of Darwin’s theories.
In a similar vein, I firmly believe that everyone is creative in some way. Most people are just unable to discover what their creative interests might be because of the pressures of (over)work, because art education is so goddamn expensive, and because creative industries are incredibly exclusive and elitist. And limiting creativity severely limits our imagination, making us good little cogs for the machine.
Beautiful 👏
Musician now studying compsci because I dun wanna starve :(
Ever heard of libertarian socialism? It’s the OG kind of libertarianism and is great for those who aren’t all that into cognitive dissonance.
