The one point I can really agree with is the meaning and purpose part. I’m not religious and the whole what happens after death part really fucks me up quite a bit. It’d be really damn nice if I could just go “I’ll go to Heaven” and be done

I’d be fine with LLMs being a supplementary aid for medical professionals, but not with them doing the whole thing.
Even if they ignored it, how would you know?
Instead of snake oil you get guaranteed tracking software sending your data directly to the CCP. Much better!
The OS which is just a rebranded Android fork lmao.
Never heard of any examples and certainly no one has provided any in this thread. Just been the usual muh western website is evil by default kind of stuff.
I’ve never had issues with Wikipedia not at least mentioning a controversy on a topic if one exists. Got any current examples?
Considering some of the ungodly biased wikipedia alternatives I see tossed around on Lemmy, I’m not too confident Ibis will end up any better.
Besides, first I’m hearing of Wikipedia losing trust.
Sure enough my parents were also big smokers when I was younger, so you might be on to something here
I’ll do you one better. I pick my nose then sometimes (not always) have a lil snack :)
Personally I use light mode on everything work related and dark mode for everything personal. Helps my brain separate the two
I use a mix myself. I browse lemmy on mobile with Voyager, and Reddit on PC. Now if lemmy had active communities for my personal interests I’d be more interested, but it’s mostly generic news and such right now
Considering all the different answers in this thread, checks out
For what, soda? Looking at a Mountain Dew right now and it says 54mg caffeine. It’s next to the nutrition facts but not in the box itself
According to Google, 400 mg (~4 cups of coffee or 10 cans of soda) per day is when you run into health risks, while 1200 mg in a short time span is overdose territory.
Noticing a lack of communities that cater to specific interests, like ones for specific video games. Most of the content I see is either porn or shitposting/memes. Hoping it continues to grow.
For me personally, I’m fuckin lazy and the ability to have things delivered right to my door enables this laziness.
