that was my thougt too, however it is only those 2 games that get such an insane boost, others are within expected variation

no, on battery it enters energy saving so performance drops significantly. but every situation i talked about was on wall power, and it is to be assumed the default situation for gaming.
also to test your theory i would need to reinstall windows, which is to much of a bother when i shouldve been asleep like 2 hours ago to be rested for work
trust me that confused me too in windows but i never found a solution 🤷
i know that linux aint that bloated, but that doesnt explan a performance increase of 150% in exactly 2 games
i doubt that as i specifically selected dedicated graphics in the bios. no changes to my battery life in that regard.
i basically enabled all performance boosts (except the ai stuff like frame generation) and disabled all limiting settings (like chill)
thanks. this i actually making those games way more enjoyable to play with freinds. while 40FPS is still playable i sometimes had like 20 FPS which - as you can guess - aint really an enjoyable experience
i doubt it has to do with oem settings as that was not the original windows install, but rather a complete fresh install on a new drive. i think the second reason might be the explanation
YOU need tabbed Terminals and splits for “real” work. That doesnt mean everyone does. I worked a year or so without all that. Workflow is a matter of preference.
I need a translation
Edit: never mind it’s just spam
How did you do the Spotify colors?
Also the logout menu looks sick. Where is it from?
I just have none at all
However i have a recovery phone number and gave them my payment information so theres that
Im just gonna be direct. If you cannot understand that chart you severely lack understanding of context.
If you just look at 3 pictures in one row and read the text you should easily be able to understand what the chart is about… That’s like 10 year old logical thinking, if not even younger.
LFS is torture then
Im gonna need to know how i get that quick settings thingy in the top right on my wl-roots wm
It’s not chrome and it’s open-source
How? Installing the right tools and changing configuration files wich are typically (but not always) located under /home/[your user]/.config/[application]
For example neofetch config is located at ~/.config/neofetch/config But i think that’s not the default config. An example config would be typically (but again not always) located at /usr/share/[application)
So what you would do is
cp -r /usr/share/neofetch ~/.config
vim ~/.config/neofetch/config
And edit the file however you want. Syntax is rarely the same between apps so prepare documentation if you do more than just change values
(Replace vim with you editor of choice)
I’ve noticed this too. Even people telling me i have OCD because i sort certain things in certain ways. (i do NOT have OCD. I just can’t stand some things if they are not in my order.) But people are very quick to diagnose other’s. wich is okay imo as long as there is reason to believe so, so that you can go to the doctor and check wether that’s true. Problem is people don’t know that they don’t understand the illness/disability/etc. à la dunning krüger effect.
Now do RightWM…
love to hear stuff like that
