Florisboard (Android keyboard) was recently updated for the first time in two years. Literally one day after I had given up on it and uninstalled it.

I agree that comments like that are unhelpful/unnecessary, but how is that “for their own benefit”? Other than the actual devs themselves using that as a way to just ignore issues, I do not follow

I have definitely installed a handful of APKs over the years that did not work for me because they required Play Services, but that is far from being most of the APKs I’ve tried.

My favorite new feature here is vertically swiping the spacebar for vertical cursor movement. Not as good as iOS’s spacebar cursor implementation, but a welcome improvement over that of any other Android keyboard I have tried.

How does that work, considering Mac’s line immediately following Charlie’s rant being “Not only do all these people exist”?

What is the limiting factor here? Is there a possibility this could be expanded to more devices in the near future?

A username is simply a way to initiate contact on Signal without having to share your phone number. (You still need a phone number to sign up for Signal.)
