Sebastrion@leminal.spaceto Emulation@lemmy.ml•Lime3DS and PabloMK7 Citra Fuse Into Azahar3·8 months agoIt is a hobby for most emulator developers. It is probably far too annoying for many people to sacrifice time to host everything themselves in addition to developing the emulator. Especially if Nintendo is not interested in the emulator.

I will check them out and probably add them later. I was always asuming the PC Versions on Steam are based on the remastered android ports… Its baffling to me that they don’t.
Do you also know what the two Doom Projets do that the PC Port doesn’t do? And are they decompilations?
Sebastrion@leminal.spaceOPto Emulation@lemmy.ml•List of unofficial console PC Ports with Tutorial (Re-/Decompilations)1·1 year agoI have to admit that I don’t know anything about Sonic but I know that this Projects exist. My question is, what’s the diffrence between this Projects and the official PC Ports? Do they have features that only the Console Versions have? Especially Sonic Mania. What’s the difference between the PC Version and the decompilation?
Sebastrion@leminal.spaceOPto Emulation@lemmy.ml•List of unofficial console PC Ports with Tutorial (Re-/Decompilations)1·1 year agoAt the moment this list is focused on Windows only. I don’t know enough about Linux or Mac. Linux for example has Special Builds for Mario 64, but I don’t know what Port is good, has good features etc. Maybe one day I make a List including the Linux and Mac Ports, but I won’t count on it.

I guess programming GBA Emulators is not as hard as 3DS/DS/PS1 etc. so it’s probably for learning purposes. It’s relatively easy and you get good results without getting frustrated to much. There are also a lot of NES and SNES emulators.
I switched from Kdenlive to revolver because it’s rendering way faster. Maybe I could do the same in Kdenlive but it seems I’m to dumb. I would recommend both, Kdenlive and Revolver. Depending on the things You want to do.
