It’s made me a lot more smug about having our own quail.

Of all the people that could buy that shit pile, I think he’d be the best. Kinda the least smelly turd in the pile.
The real question is how do you ban algorithms without banning editorial discretion of the press?
It’s not a policy question it’s a media question. The right started taking over news media the day Nixon resigned. Repealing the Fairness doctrine, ending League of Women voters debates, propping up Fox news, and Sinclair media buying out all the local stations. That’s the decades long community goal they’ve been running. The left needs to understand it, and how to fight it, because MSNBC isn’t doing it.
It’s lack of direct evidence. Trump operates like a mafia boss. No paper trail, always use euphemisms for direct action, use intermediaries for voice communication. That’s why everyone around him got caught and prosecuted, but he didn’t. The entire case would be hearsay interpretations. Federal guidelines wouldn’t let a prosecutor take that to trial. Usually in that case they go for intimidation to get a confession, which doesn’t work on a megalomaniac narcissist.
Nothing but anecdotal, but it kinda looks like Bluesky is becoming a thing. Couple that with a lot of people taking a step back from the world right now.
Down right idiotic. I’m all for some better gun control, but this is just a stupid idea.
If Texas wants to put a bounty on women, we should be able to put a bounty on guns. It’d be a lot more effective too.
I heard Hawaii, but that could be completely wrong.
I use it on the threads of plastic filter housings in my engine room. It’s keeps the salt water from seizing them.
If I have to open a terminal just to get up and running, the UI has failed. If something that basic has failed, there are other much larger problems to deal with still. None of which I want to deal with.
Also I’ve spent 40 years working in various versions of dos and PowerShell interfaces, and there’s enough difference with all nix type interfaces that I don’t want to deal with swapping back and forth. I do that enough with the programming languages I use every day that it’s a constant annoyance.
Every few years I try Linux again. At this point I’ve decided that when I can install linux, and use all of my hardware/software without having to open a terminal window, I’ll try it again. Until then, I only use it when I’m paid to.
Classic gojo with pumice. Was like washing your hands with sharp wet gravel. Pretty sure it just removes the top layer of skin more than it cleans anything. Can’t be dirty if it’s gone.
Don’t worry about it, you’re washable. - Dad
I was a germaphobe kid, and my dad was a mechanic. Oil and grease horrified me until for some reason that quote just stuck with me.
Half dozen is plenty really. In recipe’s it’s supposed to be 3 quail eggs to replace 1 chicken egg, it’s really about 2.5 just rounded up. With a family of four and a dozen birds we have egg breakfasts 2 or 3 times a week in the summer, down to every other week in the winter. We’ll probably expand the flock a little this summer, bigger cage plans once I can figure out how to keep them as safe as they are in the shed now. Just found out rodents can spread bird flu too, so building requirements just got tougher.
