Could be a case of them interviewing a lot of people. Keep in mind a lot of people go on vacation this time of year and depending on the company/industry it could also mean this is peak season for them. I wouldn’t look too much into it.

My PC has a secondary HDD that has my files. Movies, books, comics, TV shows, random stuff, etc. It’s more or less organized in their own folders.

I’ve been buying a lot of Columbia stuff lately. I’m the type where I get hot easily so I’ve been buying their pants and dress shirts as they use a more breathable fabric. I just got used to sizing up a bit. I’m not at a point where I need to wear a belt thankfully.
General rule on knowing if you’re doing it right, you should feel it in your muscles and not in your joints. There’s plenty of online resources to see how to do exercises properly and even upload videos to get some feedback if you’re comfortable with it. You can also book a couple of sessions with a personal trainer if you are able to.
I’d recommend starting with the basic bodyweight exercises. Push-ups, pull-ups, dips, squats, planks. Those kinds of things. If you’re having trouble doing it unassisted it then do it partially until you can do it fully. Gyms also have machines that can help you do it with weights to make it easier as you build up muscle.
Lifting weights is also a good idea, but just make sure you don’t just do curls and triceps extensions. You need to make sure you do exercises for all your body as all your muscles work together, and if some are more developed than others, it could lead to things like cramps, soreness, and bad posture. This is partly why I recommended the bodyweight exercises in my paragraph above. They’re good at targeting a lot of muscles in each workout.

Pants. I have thicker thighs, especially when compared to my waist size. I find a lot of pants are pretty tight on me because of this. I’ve started going for the more athletic brands as a result.
Back when I used to use reddit there was /r/bodyweightfitness that was really good and I believe it’s in line with what you want. It’ll help you get stronger, leaner, and it can even done at home. I haven’t been on the site in years but I remember they had a very good wiki and even an app that helped define a workout routine for you. I would recommend you give it a look. I’d recommend supplementing it with cardio exercises (jogging, biking, etc), to increase your heart health and help you loose any fat that you might want to lose.
I go the gym 3-5 days a week depending on how busy I am. I mainly start off doing a bit of cardio on the treadmill or bike and then lifting weights. If I have the time and energy, I end it with a bit of the stair machine as well.

Different exercises/workouts are geared towards different things. What’s your goal from exercising? To lose weight? Bulk up? Just get more toned and have better muscle definition? Have better stamina? How you should be exercising depends on what you want to get out of it.

I don’t think that’s a thing really. You can look up any kind of workout regimen online from anywhere around the world nowadays. It just depends on what you want to get out of it.
How do you meet your protein or calorie goals? How do you track it? Especially food that is local to your place.
Focus your meals on high protein foods. Meats, chicken, lentils, chickpeas, etc. If you’re doing intense workouts more than 3 days a week then supplement it with protein powder. Unless you’re looking to become some kind of professional athlete/bodybuilder/whatever, counting your calorie and protein intake is a waste of time (in my humble opinion). Just pay attention to your body, things like fatigue joint pain, etc. Be mindful of them.

Just ignore/downvote/argue them. Whatever you prefer and have the energy for. I don’t believe blocking people just because they disagree or annoy you is a good mindset to have personally. You’re just setting yourself up to just browse in an echo chamber.
I remember a few months ago there was a post on Asklemmy where the person talked about how they enjoyed talking to an AI chatbot more than human interaction. During the course of the discussion it came out that this person had some incredibly crappy views on things like politics and human loss. This person admitted to blocking over 500 people on Lemmy because of it, and it’s likely gone up since then. Blocking people just sets one up to have that kind of mindset.

None, I don’t think it’s worthwhile to block users and create some kind of filtered bubble or echo chamber. To me, if you try to silence someone, you’re afraid of what they have to say.
Majority of the people who are saying this are Arab-Americans. They know how bad Trump will be, they voted overwhelmingly in favor of Biden back in 2020. Unfortunately, after a year of witnessing their entire ethnicity being written off as an acceptable casualty in the name of international diplomacy and foreign lobbying, they’ve become numb and just stopped caring. There have been repeated instsnces of Democrats actually silencing them from speaking up as well. They’ve adopted a scorched earth mentality and are deciding to send a giant “fuck you” to Harris and the entire Democratic party.
And the Democrats are also allowing Israel to do whatever they want. There’s not much of a difference between the two on this topic.

Some instances are more geared towards a certain “culture”. Once you browse enough of Lemmy you tend to get a feel for it. For instance, I chose my instance because a lot of the communities are centered around hobbies and interests so it’s more lighthearted, and the admins seem to be very focused on providing a positive experience as well as ensuring federation is done right. You’ll just need to keep this culture of an instance in mind when browsing communities on different instances. The level of moderation can vary significantly between them.
I haven’t tried it myself but my understanding is you can move your account to a different instance should you choose to in the future. So keep that in mind if you feel like at one point you don’t like your instance.
If it’s widespread, there will likely be some kind of strong smell that is not pleasant.
Are there signs of water damage anywhere in the house? Paint on the wall or ceiling that looks like it got wet at one point? That might be a good place to look for if it did happen.
Do you happen to know any professional contractors personally? Painters or handymen maybe? They’ve likely seen it before and have learned to spot the telltale signs.
