38 isn’t old at all. I’ve got nearly a decade on you and run a farm and have a normal 8-5 job. You sound like you just need to stop thinking you’re to old. The saying “you’re only as old as you think” is really true. I feel more fit now than when I was in my 20s.

Vampire masquerade bloodlines…yes I know they’re working on one, but they’ve been working on it for years now and it’s been bouncing around to different devs, which just seem to either try and make it something else or deviate from the original completely.

NMS was what I hoped would be the freelancer part 2 but it’s just an exploring game. While fun on its own, completely lacks any real danger and that just kills it for me.

You might want to get that checked out. You shouldn’t be feeling pain to that level in your 20s. I’m 40+ and do not have pain and exhaustion from everyday things. I work outside daily on my farm as well. So you really shouldn’t be feeling this at 20.

I believe so, it’s where a lot of us went at first, but then realized if the guy running it doesn’t like you, he just will ban you. Which is fine, it’s his site, but that’s not what I or many others wanted.

When I started using lemmy I just grabbed every app for it and tried them all. Boost is the closest I was able to find, and it has a ton of options to get it looking and feeling like RIF. The others were good, but just different. I liked RIF because of how simplistic it was, boost thankfully gives that same simplistic feel.

If you where a RIF user, go with boost. It’s as close to rif as it gets. Since the rif dev went to that ban happy tildes site.
