2 years agoFor the best. Knowing that this hacking technique is a vulnerability with the Lemmy project as a whole, I think it’s reasonable for instances to temporarily close while a fix is implemented.

Twitter and Truth Social have already captured the right-wing market, kowtowing to their demands is not going to earn Threads new users and will discourage moderates from signing up.
