The new auto update setting is working fine for me. Did a recent install and made sure all the apps I installed didn’t have the warning that it couldn’t auto update, and I haven’t been prompted to update at all.

The latter’s value is in supporting the former (along with basic physical needs, which in this case seem to be taken care of). So yeah, taking some time to consider how a financial donation might impact someone’s feelings is worth it.

Came here to say this. As seen in this thread, there are people who seem to want it, so I see nothing wrong with letting them have it. I wonder how hard it would be to implement a blocklist to make this a bit less of a hassle.

In a lot of games AI opponents are called CPU players. I think that’s what they mean.

Unfortunately, they do not care. They don’t want people watching youtube, they want people watching ads.

I’m trying to find where you can support the authors of blocklists. So far I’ve only found Peter Lowe’s Patreon.
