I hope Element X will get support for spaces soon. I agree that fluffy does seem to be the most capable at the moment but I don’t think it has support for sliding sync.

The coolest thing when you start the DLC is that you realize that this whole thing has just been out there the entire time you’ve been playing and you didn’t know it. Then you finally get there and you can play the entire DLC while the rest of the game keeps going without you.
A space is a collection of rooms. So you have a clean list of spaces, then when you click into one of them it shows all the rooms that it contains. Without spaces, every single room is shown in one big list.
Element x still doesn’t have support for spaces. Trying to navigate between rooms just by scrolling through one huge list is a nightmare.
Even if you aren’t a mustard purist, there are so many better things to put on a hot dog before ketchup.
Matrix has the unfortunate problem right now where all the big clients have matrix.org set as the default homeserver. Yes, it is a decentralized and federated protocol, but I wonder how many users are registered on matrix.org vs other servers.
It’s the same argument when discussing why people need a pickup truck as their daily driver for the one time a year they need to haul a trailer or move a couch. When faced with the possibility of switching from a half-ton to a sedan, suddenly everybody needs to carry their refrigerator with them everywhere.

A conscious observer has entered the eye. I wonder what happens now.
Talking to all the travelers at the end of the universe where time may not exist, getting them to start playing their music together. I cried.

AI generated photographs, or I guess AI generated images that are trying to appear photoreal are usually pretty easy to spot.
The stylized artistic ones are often really hard because you could have a human work of art that is trying to purposefully mimic an AI generator, which looks like the case with Strawberry Taiyaki Cat
But, basically… use the right tool for the job
Yup. I mainly use tiling for most of my windows including terminal, but when I need to be more productive like when working in Darktable it’s easier to move to another workspace and have it fill the screen.
Update 9/21/2023: Google says it has removed the AI-generated selfie from Knowledge Graph and Knowledge Panels, where it was appearing, after 404 Media reached out for comment and first published this story.
Just make sure you physically disconnect all other storage devices while installing windows. The windows boot loader seems to make itself comfy on any drive it can find.
Everybody say it with me now. Introversion ≠ social anxiety.
Just because I’m a social recluse does not automatically mean I don’t know how to strike up a conversation.
Does the same thing on my local instance.
