I love it, but it has some fairly big annoying things about it and I’m disappointed to see how little movement there is to fix them in GitHub. The dev seems very insactive.

That’s enough for me to leave. Add on to the fact that Proton has been severely mismanaged since its inception. He’d rather prioritize crypto wallets and shoving AI into email than getting basic shit working.

I just moved away from Proton to Posteo for mail and calendar and Addy.io for email aliases.

• People become ultra violent, majority starts killing each other, anyone slightly bad starts doing bad things, most of them get killed by the other people they do bad things to. Total rampage.

• Cycle repeats and repeats 100 times. Pacifists / smart people GTFO of town and hide in forest.

• On 100th day, cycle stops unexpectedly. Only it stops at night, after the daily rampage is over. Nobody regenerates.

• Cycle starts unexpectedly again, every once in a while.

I had the same experience with /r/winstupidprizes recently. There was some post were someone just did something dangerous but nothing bad happened at all. Not even a little bit. It was upvoted thousands of times, had a ton of comments, and only a few of them were calling out how it didn’t make any sense why it was getting upvoted at all.

I wonder how many were bots vs stupid people.

It might be interesting to see if we could create “honeypot” posts like this which are super stupid and outside of the point of the community, then just keep track of the accounts which upvoted them.
