  • Actually getting better. I got COVID 11 weaks ago and just now I can really say I am finally starting to feel better. Most of the anxiety is gone, the only thing bothering me at this point is pain in my chest, which seems to not go away for some reason, but I’ll get there eventually.

Thanks me too. It’s very weird how long it’s taking for me to recover but I honestly think it’s my fault. I didn’t rest at all during the time I was already sick to the point I even moved some freaking furniture around. Now I am paying for it. I also talked with the person who I supposedly got it from and he had it much worse to the point he had pneumonia from it and he’s also not 100% yet. It might just be this new strain. That said, another doctor prescribed me a strong vitamin thing which is making me much better. This week I will also have another set of exams and etc, so I am crossing my fingers there will be progress and this will end.

  • I had COVID the day after Christmas and still feeling crappy. Idk don’t know if this is nornal. Doctors can’t find anything wrong with me.

At this very moment I need to take a break from work to lie down and take a nap, I am completely out of energy. I had strong headaches yesterday the whole day.

I just need this to end, I want to have my life back.

  • I’m just coming back to Linux after a 5 years break. Ive gone the latest Fedora on my laptop and if I understood it right it’s using Wayland on GNOME. I have the Nvidia drivers installed from the store, so no external repos or command line trickery, everything went smoothly and honestly the whole OS works better and visual glitches were gone instantly. Honestly the whole experience is vastly upgraded compared to the last time I used Linux. When bringing gaming to the equation I am honestly impressed with the current state of Proton, I tried a few heavy games where I’d expect all sorts of weird graphical glitches if they were running on wine back in the day and for my surprise they work absolutely fine and even better than on Windows, like No Man’s Sky, Risk of Rain 2. The only thing not right is having 2 monitors with different scales or just having a high dpi screen in general, sometimes apps don’t scale right, so I just changed the resolution.

All in all really a fantastic experience so far.

  • It depends on your age or health I guess. I’m now 34 and I am learning some types of food will tend to make me sleepy while others will help me stay away and focused for longer (or maybe they just don’t make me sleepy?)

Basically avoiding any type of heavy carbohydrates does the trick to me. Bread, spaghetti, potatoes, milk (in your coffee).

If I do get sleepy, also not sitting straight after lunch helps, I recently got a standup desk and I stand the first 30 min after lunch for work, really helps.

Also avoid any kind of sugar at all costs. Candies, dessert, ice cream, chocolate, sweetened coffee, and counterintuitively even some fruits such as bananas may give you a sugar crush.

  • This feeling has been haunting my thoughts since my 20s and honestly it’s just intensifying. The thought of it just sucks and puts me in a very nihilist mind state which sucks too. I don’t know, I just can’t accept that death is normal and everyone is ok with that, and we can’t do anything about it, and one day, I’ll be gone too. And I can’t stop simulating those very last moments in my mind, and it too, sucks.
