Well I’m guessing they actually did testing on local AI using a 4GB and 8GB RAM laptop and realized it would be an awful user experience. It’s just too slow.
I wish they rolled it in as an option though.

/s for stroke?
I hate the B-side. Alice 4 fingers - Finger guns.
I thought “Patches” was ok though.
Anything “salad” where the salad includes tuna, mayo, or egg. I can’t handle it. I don’t know why. Egg salad. Tuna salad. 🤢
I like salad. I like eggs. I like tuna somewhat. I like mayo somewhat. But any of those weird combinations make me sick.
Tell me where is Gandalf for I much desire to speak with him.
That’s insane. Good info though. Thanks for the details! If I ever need a career switch, I’ll consider it lol
What starting jobs does your plant offer right now? Are they hiring? I’m not interested but I am wondering if your experience is colored at all by a different job market.
Did you have any experience prior to 3 years ago?
They’re doing their best! It’s not great, but it’s their best!
Fingerprints are not guaranteed to be unique.
Honestly I didn’t realize that. That does make it a bit more reasonable but it’s still a lot of the income tax. But the other explanations I’ve read sort of make it make sense. Churches were the original social services for the needy and Germany basically coopted the model into their tax system - rather than tearing down religious hospitals or making them private.
I get it, but it’s also weird!
In Germany, state-recognized churches collect taxes from their members in order to finance their activities as well as wages. Everyone who is a member of an officially recognized religious group automatically gets a percentage of their monthly wage taken from their paycheck. Usually, this amounts to around 9% of income tax — with the exception of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, where the church tax amounts to 8%.
For native Germans, church tax is often automatically collected. Many Germans are baptized at a young age and thereby become members of a particular church, which means they pay taxes to that church when they begin to earn income as an adult.
If you’re a foreigner moving to Germany, you can declare your affiliation to a church when you register at your local citizen’s office.
9%? That’s absurd. Is there a way to remove yourself from this?
I agree. How are you gonna make a mansion with just a square foot? Let alone 50,000 of them.
No problem. I just wanted to see that list cause I couldn’t tell who federated with hexbear or not.
Thank you so much! Perfect
Sounds like hunting + dressing an animal? Perhaps they buried part of it for some reason.
Depends on the structure. As you said, a grain silo is a cylinder. A grain silo is certainly not tall enough to support it (based on my loose guesstimation).
What you’re really describing is the various ratios between gravity, buoyancy, and tension required to “pop” a balloon. In the simplest model, you could put each balloon directly on top of the other. Imagine a cylinder which is the perfect width of the balloons. Also imagine, in this special world, that we have an infinitely tall cylinder which is impacted by Earth’s gravity regardless of distance. The only thing in the universe is balloons, the cylinder, and Earth. Assuming the cylinder has no mass, the only thing that holds us back is the weight of the balloons. If the “popping” height of balloons is greater than the gravity of earth by some ratio of the weight of each balloon, the air, and the distance from the earth , then it fails to pop. But if it’s lower than that, then we can theoretically pop it using the weight of the balloons above it.
I’m just going to guess that - yes - you can pop balloons filled with regular air.
People don’t like to admit that we are ants. We are valuable and important. Each one of us is unique and deserves a full, good, life. But we are also ants. We are susceptible to group think, mob behavior, and we tend to follow the scent trail most of the time. It’s not a bad thing. It’s tied to our evolutionary desire to be a part of a community; to fit in and blend in.
But it also means individuals are likely to do what keeps them alive. We are likely all bad in some way or another.
But as long as you aren’t, actively, willfully, or gleefully harming people, you’re probably ok.
