Yep. I’m not saying there no good employees, but upper management and the overall direction of Amazon corporation is uncaring at best, openly hostile at worst.

Taylor Swift, the modern version. She used to be a genuinely talented singer songwriter but has gone way too far into the popstar life. I remember her playing solo songs on an acoustic guitar, and she was good.

For me it’s “Photograph.” Such an aggressively sappy and mediocre song. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of an essay I would have written on the bus on the way to school in 6th grade.
I kind of like “Never Again”, it’s a bit heavy-handed but it’s got crunchy guitar and the message is good, don’t put up with abusive shit.

I unironically love the music of Limp Bizkit, but Fred Durst seems like a shitty person in many ways.

Yes Amazon, like most multi-billion dollar corporations, hates you. They hate their customers, they hate their workers, they hate government standing in their way, they hate the planet.

The water is very warm, which bacteria like. The data centers in our county are going to be allowed to discharge 95 degree water into a creek.

Just last month I was trying to question a board of supervisors member on this very thing. I used to like the guy but he gave a long-winded pretty story about how the water will be cleaned and filtered to the highest standards. Yes that could be done, but he couldn’t tell me exactly in the county was going to ensure it WAS done.
Same deal with fracking. The proponents can make the procedures sound good but without unbiased monitoring that they actually do what they promise it doesn’t mean jack squat after the groundwater is already polluted.

TLDW?

This sounds like Facebook nonsense. Is it from Facebook? If so, it’s engagement bait.

Yeah I’d like to play Crimson Desert but holding off on buying until Denuvo is gone.

That’s what I’m doing. They have proven time and time again they aren’t to be trusted.

At best they are keeping an audit trail to be sure the clerk didn’t sell alcohol to an underage person. But even if they aren’t already I figure it will get retained and used in some manner. Marketing, insurance, who knows? Lots of data brokers would buy information on who buys alcohol.

Same here. Although i did buy and enjoy Days Gone on PC.

I don’t like it when a store scans my driver’s license to buy alcohol. I stick to small convenience stores without that tech.

That’s exactly what lots of local leaders are being told, and believing, right now.

It’s a weird situation where you can’t do anything to an unmanned drone flying around your yard but at the same time if I wanted to string rope lights in a complex network all over the yard that’s perfectly valid. So it’s your airspace but also not your airspace once someone flies in there.

Ticketmaster is scalping too, while gathering everyone’s personal data. Gonna be great for the company valuation.

Hard drives in an old Mionix mouse box padded with bubble wrap, regularly swapped between 2 locations.

From USA, no idea who this is.
Or pro gun. I know many people that would never vote Democrat because of guns.
